The KLI Design Process

My background in business development taught me how to keep projects organized, timelines realistic, communication clear, and details moving forward (especially when there are a hundred little decisions to make behind the scenes). That experience is exactly what makes my design process feel easy, fluid, and manageable for my clients.

Discover

We start by understanding your vision, preferences, and requirements to tailor a design plan that suits your lifestyle and budget.

Plan

As part of your initial design agreement, we'll provide you with a detailed project summary, scope of work and timeline so you'll always know what to expect throughout the project - right from day 1.

Create

Translating your ideas into visual concepts, we will create vision boards, provide samples and space plans to capture the essence of your dream space.

Transform

Bringing the design to life, our team manages every detail from sourcing materials to overseeing installations, ensuring a seamless transformation.

How it Works

Phase 1: Discover
We'll start with a Discovery call so I can learn more about you and how you feel we can best support you. We talk through goals, lifestyle, inspiration, and what success looks like for you. I ask the right questions early so the rest of the process feels simple. If we determine at the end of the 15 min call that this could be a good fit, I'll schedule and in-home consultation to review the space in order to put together a comprehensive proposal for our services.

Phase 2: Plan
My team and I will build a strategy including your top priorities, sequencing, what we will be specifically focused on as a your design team, and a game plan that supports your schedule and keeps decisions from piling up.

Phase 3: Create
Once we've agreed upon the plan, KLI will design your space from the big choices to the finishing touches. We will collaborate with any other trades involved in the project to offer guidance, options, and a clear path forward.

Phase 4: Transform
This is where the magic happens... KLI will manage the design plan execution + install + final styling. I’m there to keep the vision consistent and the end result feeling effortless.
