Pipe Dreams
This basement transformation was a fun one because the space was going to primarily be used by teenagers, so I decided to give it a more modern, industrial feel.
These shelves were created with butcher block countertop, cut to 10" and anchored to the wall with plumbing pipe. The top shelf pipe is 18", the bottom shelf lines up 12" below that.
Ultimately this project accomplished what I intended it to - clear the countertops, but still provide enough functional storage while leveraging height as well as depth.
